Cat Color Code

At Devine Paws, all of our kittens coat colors are specified using the Pawpeds EMS codes. This is the universal code in which breeders and cat associations use to explain a cats breed, color and coat patterns.

For quick access on what your kittens color is based on the EMS code, please review the following tables.

Please note that only colors which can be produced in Siberian Forest Cats are listed. For the full list of colors, see Pawpeds EMS codes website.

Color codes can get quite complex, depending on what the kitten inherited from their parents.

For example, this is an a 23 04. This means she is a blue mackerel tabby with mitts.
